Data Deletion Instructions

DakBox does not save your personal data to our servers permanently. According to the Facebook Platform Rules, we need to provide a Data Deletion Callback URL or Data Deletion Instructions URL. If you want to delete your activities and data associated with the DakBox app via Facebook Login, you can do so by following these steps:

Method 1: Removing the App from your Facebook Settings (Recommended by Facebook) You can easily remove your DakBox account connection entirely from within your own Facebook account. This will instantly revoke our app's access to your data.

Log in to your Facebook account and click the downward arrow in the top right corner.
Select Settings & Privacy > Settings.
In the left-hand menu, click on Apps and Websites.
Search for "DakBox" in the list of active apps.
Click the Remove button next to the DakBox app.
Check the box to delete any posts, videos, or events DakBox posted on your timeline (we don't post anything!), and click Remove.
Your Facebook connection, profile data, and session will be immediately disconnected and deleted from our active systems.

Method 2: Request Manual Data Deletion If you prefer that we manually purge any records of your email address or Facebook User ID from our logs:

Send an email to

support@dakbox.net
with the subject line "Facebook Data Deletion Request".
Include the email address associated with your Facebook account.
We will locate your account and permanently delete all associated data within 72 hours, and reply with a confirmation.
